The Alpha Crude Connector (ACC) is a crude oil pipeline transmission system that cuts across the Northern Delaware Basin. This project features a nominal 100,000 barrels per day of capacity, more than 300,000 barrels of operational storage, and truck offloading facilities. The ACC system is comprised of 828.81 km (515 miles) of gathering and transmission lines and five markets interconnects, including PAA\'s Basin pipeline system. The Alpha Crude Connector offers four downstream pipeline options, two regional refineries, and one rail system and is designed to provide optional, reliability, competitive pricing, and timing advantage. The ACC system was placed in initial service in late 2015 with multiple new well connections made throughout 2016. In 2014, Concho and Frontier formed the ACC joint venture to construct a crude oil transportation system in the northern Delaware Basin. In January 2017, Concho Resources Inc. and Frontier Midstream Solutions, LLC entered into a separate agreements to sell 100% of their respective ownership interests of Alpha Holding Company, LLC, the owner of the Alpha Crude Connector system (“ACC”), to Plains All American Pipeline, L.P. for a combined total of US$1.215 billion.
