Project Profile

Location: Mississippi Canyon 214 & 215, offshore New Orleans, Gulf of Mexico, USA
Depth: 1,330 - 1,825 m
Start-up Year: October 2016

The Odd Job Field is an ultra-deepwater field located in Mississippi Canyon, offshore New Orleans, in the Gulf of Mexico, in water depths ranging from 1,330 to 1,825 meters. Odd Job field is a small oil and gas discovery. The field will be developed as a 2-3 subsea well tieback to the nearby Delta House FPS and the start of production is expected late in 2016. More wells are planned in 2018 as more capacity becomes available.

The Odd Job Field was discovered by Eni\'s well in MC 214. DGE II subsequently took over operatorship and drilled a well in MC 215 that discovered a second larger Miocene reservoir that proved the commerciality of the field.
