Anchor
The Anchor prospect is located in the deepwater U.S. Gulf of Mexico, approximately 225 km off the coast of Louisiana. The Anchor-2 discovery well encountered oil pay in multiple Lower Tertiary Wilcox Sands. The well was drilled to a depth of 10,287 m in August 2014. Appraisal drilling began in 2015. As a result, Anchor-2 sidetrack#1 well confirmed the hydrocarbon accumulation found in the discovery well. The Anchor #3 and #4 appraisal wells have been aslo successful. Anchor #4, which was spud in late 2016, resulted in approximately 245m of net oil pay.
Tigris
Tigris development is a multi-field cluster consisting of the Tiber, Guadalupe and Gibson discoveries.
Both developments are envisaged to produce via semisubmersibles that could be progressed under a “design one, build two” plan. Anchor could potentially come online first and Tigris to follow after six to nine months.
