Construction of an 850km, large diameter pipeline, capable of supplying up to 4.2 Bcf/d of gas. The pipeline will run from the Horn River Basin, northeast British Columbia and end at an LNG export facility in Prince Rupert. The project will also connect with the Spectra Energy System at Station 2 (southwest of Fort St. John).

Spectra Energy is understood to be considering three possible routes for the final leg of the pipeline; two on the sea bed, and another on land. The submarine options include 70 or 120 km of underwater pipeline reaching depths of 129m and 554m.
