The Greathouse Prospect is located in section 9, Township 11 South, Range 8 West two miles (approximately 3.2 km) east of the Lake Charles Airport in the South Lake Charles field in Louisiana in USA. The prospect is defined by Paleocene-Eocene Wilcox Group sandstone reservoirs that produce oil from structural-stratigraphic traps in the southern part of the Mississippi Salt Basin. A proposed well into the Prospect will be a re-drill of the Jordan Schultz no.1 well drilled in 2007, but which failed to test key objectives due to technical issues.

Titan Energy\'s sidetrack of the historic Jordan Schultz #1 well is targeting potential production of 300 barrels of oil equivalent per day. The re-entry will target the Hayes sand at a Total Depth of 10,150 feet (approximately 3,093 metres). Importantly, the identification of this prospect is supported by 3D data. In August 2012, Titan acquired interest in the approximately 110 acre Greathouse Prospect within the South Lake Charles oil and gas field in Louisiana, USA. The Company increased its area of interest to 148 acres in October 2012 and holds an option over a further 209 acres. Studies show Greathouse has the potential to contain in excess of 1.35 million barrels of oil equivalent in the Hayes sand alone, which offers us a potentially significant return on our modest investment.
