Project Profile
Location: West of San Joaquin Basin, in the state of California, USA
Reserves: Unknown
Area: 536 acres
The Raven Pass prospect is a surface anticline with a strike length of over 10 kilometres covering an area of 130 acres. It is well defined by surface mapping, with 1,500 ft of structural relief. It is located in the west of San Joaquin Basin, in the state of California, USA neighbouring giant oilfields such as Belridge. A shallow well drilled in the middle of the anticline flowed 52º API gravity oil, but the deeper reservoir section has not been tested, although it is productive in some nearby oilfields. IOG have undertaken surface mapping and have purchasing available seismic near the structure. Reservoir, seal and source have been documented in the potential reservoir sequence. A well is tentatively planned in 2013. Incremental Oil and Gas Ltd (IOG) is the operator of the prospect with 100% interest.
