The Rimbey Gas Complex is located in Alberta’s west country, 100 kilometres southwest of the city of Edmonton, has a capture area in excess of 4,600 square kilometres and offers a full range of gas processing services including gas gathering inlet separation, compression, sour gas processing, NGL extraction, NGL fractionation, sulphur and carbon dioxide. In addition, the plant also produces a special frac oil product, and liquefied CO2, which are used for well servicing and oil recovery. The raw inlet capacity is 11,900 103m3/day (422 mmcf/d), while the sulphur license capacity is 147 tonnes/day

Products produced are: sales gas, ethane, propane, butane, condensate, sulphur and carbon Dioxide

The product delivery points are: Atco Distribution System, TransCanada Transmission System and Keyera Rimbey Edmonton Terminal/Keyera Fort Saskatchewan.

A Tail gas cleanup installed in 2001, while a NGL and condensate truck offload facility constructed in 2001. In 2004, a CO2 facility commenced operations and in 2006, two new inlet compressors were installed. A C2 Extraction Project was initiated in 2008. The partners in the complex include: Keyera Corp. 97%, Bellatiny 0.8%, CNR Rimbey 0.5%, Bonavista 0.1%, Centipede Resources 0.1%, Devon Canada 0.1%, Green Valley Energy 1.1% and Quatro Resources 0.3%.
