OML 30, located onshore in the delta in Nigeria, includes eight producing fields and associated infrastructure, including a segment of the 850,000 bopd capacity Trans Forcados pipeline. OML 30 is currently averaging gross production of c.35,000 bopd. As such, production from OML 30 has been undermined by repeated attacks on the Forcados system by militias in the Niger Delta region.
OML 30 has gross proved and probable reserves of 707 mmbbls of oil and 2.5 Tcf gross reserves of gas. Potential to ramp up production of OML 30 in the short term by refurbishing and maintaining existing infrastructure. Shoreline Natural Resources has recently acquired a 45% interest in OML 30. The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), through its subsidiary, Nigerian Petroleum Development Company (NPDC), will hold the remaining 55% interest and NPDC will also be the operator of OML 30, working in partnership with Shoreline to further develop the field.
