Concession C17 is located onshore in the western part of the Sirte basin in Libya, 130km southern of Sirte and around 30 km west of Waha Oil Company’s Bahi production facilities.
The project objectives include development of Dahra South East Reservoir as part of the overall Dahra & Garian development, increase of production by more than 20,000 b/d by 2013, in addition to the current production of 25,000 b/d from Mabruk field, expand and upgrade surface facilities such as gathering system, Gas Oil Separation and produced water treatment plant & re-injection system, common facilities and oil export system for the anticipated increase in production.
The scope of project includes: a new process train similar to the existing one of 26,000 b/d capacity including some necessary modifications and upgrade works, integration and tie in of the new process train to all the existing common facilities and utilities with possible expansion of the common facilities if required, optional- upgrading of produced water treatment system & installation of new produced water re injection system with integration works of the new equipment to existing facilities, optional- installation of additional oil storage tank, export pump, new pigging facilities, upgrade works at Bahi Station and connect to 12” new Export Pipeline laid by others.
