Project Profile
Value: $3,700 Million
Location: Green Canyon
Water Depth: 2,130m
Startup Year: 2010
The project will see the development of a deepwater field in the Gulf of Mexico, via moored semi-submersible platform and 18 wells (producers and injectors). The Atlantis production semi sub is moored in around 7,000 feet of water (2,134 metres) in Green Canyon block 699 and can handle up to 200,000 barrels of oil and 180 million cubic feet of gas per day. The development plan also includes a separate dedicated mobile offshore drilling unit. The oil and gas will be transported via Mardi Gras transportation system. The Atlantis is located in an area of 7074 ft of water (2,156 metres).
On the Atlantis North Flank there are 1-3 wells with subsea tiebacks to the Atlantis South. They required subsea equipment and seven drilling wells. The water injection system was added to the Atlantis platform to boost production.
