The Tahiti development consists of a floating production facility supported by a truss spar located in Green Canyon Block 641 in 4,000\' water depth, with two subsea drill centers: the Production Drill Center North (PN) located in Block 596, and the Production Drill Center South (PS) in Block 640 and a Discovery Well located in Block 640. Tahiti has reserves in the order of 400-500 mmboe, will be capable of producing 125,000 barrels of oil and 70 million cubic feet of gas per day. Will be put into production in two phases.
Topsides: 9950 tonne production module, 6500 tonne utility module, 2500 tonne module support frame, to be supported by 24,000 tonne spar hull about 170 metres long with diamater of 39 metres.
Pipeline: 55-mile, 24\" crude oil pipeline from Tahiti to Amberjack pipeline; capacity of 300,000 b/d.
First production expected mid-2008. Phase 1 cost $1.8B.
Phase II: Eight 15,000-psi subsea trees. Completion 2012.
