The Mubarraz field, located in the Mubarraz Island, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, was discovered in 1969 and production followed in 1973. Oil produced from the Mubarazz, Neewat Al-Ghalan and Umm Al-Anbar fields flows through subsea pipelines to the processing facilities on Mubarraz Island. In an effort to increase oil production from its UAE offshore acreage, Abu Dhabi Oil Company (ADOC) plans to improve the production facilities at its 100%-owned Mubarraz field. ADOC recently contracted SNC-Lavalin (SNC) to provide management and consultancy services for the FEED and EPC stages of the project. The depth of the field is estimated at 25 m / 83 ft.
