Sharyoof field is located in block 53 in the Masila-Seiyun basin adjacent to the Total Block 10 and DNO Block 32 in Yemen. The Dove Sharyoof field produces through the existing oil production and export infrastructre of the Masila oil province. The Block has a proven oil systems and reservoir potential in the Qishn clastics, Jurassic limestones and fractured granitic Basement. The reserve estimates have increased significantly over the years. The field development was based on an initial reserve estimate of 25 million barrels of oil in the Qishn reservoir; the current estimate for ultimate gross recovery is currently 48 million barrels. Production from Sharyoof started in December 2001; total production per 31 December 2011 was 43.4 million barrel, and remaining economic gross reserves per 31 December 2011 was 2.5 million of barrels of oil. Dove Energy Limited operates the Yemen Block 53 Production Sharing Agreement on behalf Joint Venture partners - Dove Energy, The Yemen Company, DNO ASA, MOE Oil & Gas Yemen and Petrolin.
