Oil Pipelines Co (OPC) has made progress regarding its plans to build a pipeline in Northern Iraq. Iraq\'s Oil Pipelines Co (OPC) has awarded South Korea\'s state-run gas company a US$127 million contract to build a 110 kilometre pipeline linking the cities of Kirkuk and Baiji. The Korea Gas Corp (KOGAS) was selected as the preferred builder in a process that had eight contenders. Under the contract, the pipeline will be built by September 2014.
