Anahita Refinery is an oil refinery owned and operated by Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company (NIORDC) in Kermanshah region, Iran. The capacity of the facility is 150,000 bpd. Products include gasoline, gas oil, LPG, kerosene, fuel oil, sulfur, bitumen. The refinery includes the existing units: distilation, LPG recovery, visbreaker, CCR, FCC, asphalt, sulfur recovery, gas oil hydrodesulfurization, naphtha hydrotreater, isomerisation, H2, N2, propylene, soar water, amine gas treating, industrial and swage treating. The required investment for the project is estimated at about US$3.13 billion.
The refinery is projected to produce 5.2mm litres of gasoline per day, 1.3mm l/d of super gasoline, 4.9mm l/d of kerosene, 2.7mm l/d kiln oil, 350 t/d of liquid gas, 5,000 b/d of tar and 280 t/d of sulfur. The type of heavy and light oil feedstock of the refinery will define its petrol production capacity. An 85% share of the refinery feedstock would be provided through North Dezful oilfield and 15% through Naft-Shahr, Maleh-Kouh and Serkan oilfields. Anahita refinery is planned to be operational the second half of 2013. APS Engineering won the Basic Engineering Design (BED) and FEED contract, while Sazeh won the EPC contract for the refinery. Nargan was responsible for the Grant of Rights for Use of Technical Information and and was awarded also an Engineering Services contract.
