Mansouri oilfield is located about 60 kilometres north of the Persian Gulf and near the southwestern city of Ahvaz. The oilfield has been yielding 100 thousand barrels of oil per day since completion of its 1st phase in 2007.
The 2nd phase of Mansouri oilfield development project contract was officially signed. This contract will be implemented in form of EPCF and includes engineering, purchasing, and financing of both ground and underground facilities within Mansouri oilfield.
In its underground section, this project includes drilling of 22 wells, and executive operation at ground covers conceptual engineering planning, goods purchasing, constructing wellhead facilities, and laying flowing pipelines, pumping and separating facilities, a production and desalination unit, a gas & gas liquids plant, gas sweetening plant, flared gas compressing unit, as well as water and electric power units and main oil and gas pipelines.
Pertamina signed a memorandum of understanding to conduct preliminary studies on the field. (August, 2016)
