The Ebla LPG Plant Project is located in the Ash Shaheer and Furqulos area between the historic sites of Homs and Palmyra, Syria. The project included a remote Gas Gathering station, with associated multiphase flowlines, 100km multiphase pipeline, Gas treatment plant comprising: gas dehydration unit, gas separation using turbo-expander/low temperature separator process, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) recovery unit, LPG storage facilities and loading facilities, sales gas compression and transportation facilities, condensate stabilisation and storage, associated offsites and utilities to produce 88 MMscfd sales gas, 150 Te/d LPG and associated condensate. The plant is constructed to extract LPG (propane and butane) from the feed gas for road tanker transport and produce export specification sales gas and condensate using a turbo-expander and liquids fractionation process. The project scope included all facilities from the well trees up to the tie-in to the export lines, as well as all associated utilities and infrastructure.
