Location: Offshore south west of Bushehr in the Persian Gulf, Iran
Production: 950,000 barrels per day (bpd) by 2015
Iran is currently extracting some 240,000 barrels per day (bpd) of crude oil from oilfields shared with its neighbors and plans to boost the output to 950,000 bpd by 2015. All development plans related to the joint oilfields will be launched in the current Iranian calendar year, which ends on March 19, 2012. The FARZAD-A offshore facilities shall be developed to produce gas from the FARZAD-A Gas Field, located some 150 km offshore south west of Bushehr in the Persian Gulf. SAFF-ROSEMOND Engineering & Management Co. as the EPCI Contractor for the Jacket and the Temporary Drilling Deck will perform the Management, Procurement, Basic Design Endorsement. and Detail engineering of the project. Construction of the jacket will be subcontracted to NSQ which its yard is located at Qeshm Island and the offshore installation will be subcontracted to SADAF Company which is a reputable and experienced company in installations of offshore structures.
