The project will see the increase of Abu Dhabi\'s onshore oil production capacity from 1.4 to 1.8 million bpd. It involves the development of the Bida Al-Qemzan, Ruwais, Qushawira, Bab and Northeast Bab Fields. The first phase covers two main packages: Bab-Thamama G/Habshan II; and the Qusahwira field development. The project is central element in the emirate\'s plan to raise sustainable production capacity from 2.7 to 3.5 million bpd. The programme involves the drilling of production wells, the construction of gas-oil separation (GOSP) plants and interfield pipeline networks in the five fields.
