The plant facilities are to include compressor and booster stations, a fuel gas treatment and gas dehydration units to treat 211 million standard cubic feet per day of associated gas produced by offshore fields in Abu Dhabi. The project will be configured predominately in large-scale process system modules and interconnecting racks, which will be manufactured and assembled at construction yards before being transported and erected at Das Island.

Penspen: Project management consultancy contract with Abu Dhabi Marine Operation Company (ADMA-OPCO) for ongoing work on Das Island in the United Arab Emirates. Penspen will advise and lead four key areas, including the upgrade or replacement of various pipeline networks and studies related to an oil spill response hub to serve Das Island and offshore. The project management consultancy contract, which went live in January 2016, will run for four years. (March 2016)
