The Michal licence is located in 4,500 feet of water and 30 miles offshore. Further to the Tamar discovery, in March, 2009, Delek\'s explorations discovered another well, the Dalit, at a total depth of 3,660 metres, in a 33-metre subterranean dune. The estimations are that Dalit, with Gross Mean Resources that will approach 500 BCF (.5 TCF / 14.2 BCM) – will be able to produce 200 million Mmcf daily - - constituting another commercial discovery Dalit represents the second subsalt, lower-Miocene discovery in the underexplored Levantine basin. Dalit is estimated to have gross mean resources of around 500 billion cubic feet of natural gas.
