Project Profile

Location: Phase 19 is located in Tonbak region and phases 20 & 21 in Assaluyeh region
Value: US$8-10 billion (estimate)
Current Production: 93 mcm per day (combined) - Phase 19: 42 mcm; Phases 20 & 21: 51 mcm per day
Capacity: 108 mcm per day (combined) - Phase 19: 57 mcm of gas, 80,000 bpd of gas condensate, 400 tpd of sulphur, and 1.5 million tpy of LPG and 1 million tpy of ethane.; Phases 20 & 21: 51 mcm per day of gas, 75,000 bpd of gas condensate, 400 tpd of sulphur, and 1.5 million tpy of LPG, and 1 million tpy of ethane.
Completion: March 2017 (estimate)

Phase 19 development was awarded to OIEC and Petropars. These phases will produce 2 billion cubic feet (57,000,000 m3) per day of natural gas, 75 MMcf/d of ethane, 80,000 barrels per day of condensate, 3,000 tons of LPG per day plus 400 tons of sulfur per day. As it is understood this phase is defined within phase 1 so it can be regarded as some kind of expansion for phase 1. In November 2015, Iran finished installation of platform 19C of South Pars phase 19 to bring production from SPD2 platform to 0.5bcf by winter. The installation of the offshore platform of phase 19 by an Iranian installer at its designated place was completed on Tuesday, November 17, 2015. The pre-startup operation of platform 19C is 50% complete and it scheduled to be fully operational by the end of the current Iranian calendar year to March 20, 2016.

Phases 20 and 21 development was awarded to OIEC. These phases will produce 2 billion cubic feet (57,000,000 m³) per day of natural gas, 75 MMcf/d of ethane, 80,000 barrels per day of condensate, 3000 tonnes of LPG per day plus 400 tonnes of sulfur per day.
