Project Profile

Value: US$1,500 million
Location: Abu Dhabi, Middle-East
Upstream: 800,000 bbl/day
Start-up Year: 2016

The project will include two production platforms, about 30 kilometres of pipelines, and associated production units. Two artificial islands, created for drilling, will transport the crude through subsea pipelines to a new facility to be built on Zirku Island for processing, storage and export of oil. SARB Full Field Development is a strategic initiative of Adnoc within the context of its oil production enhancement plans and Abu Dhabi\'s broader development strategy. The development project is part of the overall scheme of Adma-Opco to add 300,000 barrels a day (bpd) of additional production from its new offshore fields, with about 100,000 bpd coming from SARB oilfield to be developed through seven packages.
