Total Project Cost: US$47 billion (US$5 billion in Phase 1)
Location: 65 km north-west of Al-Basrah, Iraq 

Start-up Year: 2013 

Reserves: 14 billion barrels 
The West Qurna II concession covers the northern portion of the West Qurna field in southern Iraq.
It is expected to reach production levels of 1.8 million barrels per day at peak production and a remuneration fee of US$1.15 per barrel for each additional barrel from initial production (120,000 bpd). 
Production Phases:
Phase 1 (Early Oil Mishrif formation) will increase output from 120,000 bpd to 400,000 bpd
Phase 2 (Mishrif Full Field Development) will increase production by 150,000 bpd (to 550,000 bpd).
Phase 3 will focus on the deeper Yamama formation to add another 650,000 bpd.
Lukoil began production in 2014 at 120,000 bpd. This reached 400,000 bpd in mid-2014.
The field development plan provides for the drilling of more than 500 wells. The first start of the field's development foresees the drilling of 67 wells. The contracts include:
- Oil gathering and treatment systems and water supply system 
- Export pipeline to the Tuba terminal in Basra 
- Storage tank farm at the terminal 
- power distribution stations and gas processing units 
Operators:
Lukoil: Operator and 75% interest in the 20-year technical service contract, with a possible extension of five years.

Statoil (Sold stake to Lukoil March 2012)
Contractors: 
Baker Hughes: Full drilling and completion services for 23 wells 
Piling Tech: Installation of piles, foundations and wells

Technip: FEED contract
Terraseis: 3D seismic survey
Samsung Group: Build and install a central processing facility
Joint Consortium for the EPC - construction of oil storage tanks at Tuba:
ENTREPOSE Contracting: 60% interest
