Bure gas field was developed via one subsea well connected to the Thames Complex. The producing wells are at Bure O (49/28-8) and Bure West (49/28-18). The reservoir is mainly aeolian dune sandstones of the Rotliegendes Leman Sandstone Formation.
The Thames Complex is comprised of three platforms: a wellhead AW, a reception AR and process AP. The AR platform separates gas prior to processing and exports via the Thames AW wellhead platform. Production ceased in 2014 and decommissioning plan was submitted on 16th October 2015.
