The Portovaya LNG Project is located in Russia. The 1.5-million tonne/year LNG plant will process natural gas arriving from the nearby Portovaya compressor station (CS) on Gazprom’s Nord Stream gas trunk line. Gazprom announced the first tender for the construction of a plant for the production, storage and shipment of liquefied natural gas (LNG) in the region of Portovaya in early October 2015. Design and survey works for construction of the plant was performed by a subsidiary of Gazprom — Gazprom engineering.

Contractors:

SRDI Oil & Gas Peton: EPC joint contract with Linde Group

Linde Group: Contracted for the use of its LIMUM® technology, a multi-stage mixed refrigerant process achieving best-in-class energy efficiency, applying its proprietary coil wound heat exchangers. Under the contract with Peton, Linde will perform basic engineering for the process plant and supply the equipment and related bulk material for the cryogenic units of the plant.
