Project Profile
Location: West of Shetlands area, UK
Start-up Year: -
The licence lies in the West of Shetlands area. A tertiary amplitude anomaly has been identified. Parkmead gained entry into the West of Shetland province through the award of two licences in the UKCS 27th Licensing Round covering six blocks. The acreage contains two very large prospects, Davaar and Eddystone, in an area surrounded by oil and gas fields. At Davaar, the Palaeocene age reservoir is at the same stratigraphic horizon as adjacent discoveries and can be de-risked by detailed seismic amplitude and AVO analysis. The work programme for Davaar consists of seismic reprocessing to generate AVO volumes and a drill or drop well within four years.
