Tvillingen South (formerly Scarecrow) is a gas condensate prospect located in PL510 on the Halten Terrace with gross mean unrisked resources of 104 mmboe. Exploratory drilling commenced in the first quarter of 2015.
Drilling Activity
Exploration well 6406/6-4 was plugged and abandoned after unsuccessful attempts to set an intermediate liner in the well.
Well 6406/6-4 S is a replacement well for 6406/6-4. The well was spudded on 11 August 2015 and encountered a 25 m gas/condensate column in the Garn sandstones. Shows were recorded all through the Garn and Ile formations. Due to water wet Tofte and Tilje formations, the Åre Formation was not drilled. In October 2015 the well was permanently abandoned as a minor gas/condensate discovery.
