Independent Oil & Gas has agreed to acquire 100% of the UK license block 48/22a from Swift Exploration for US$782,000. Block 48/22a contains a gas discovery that Independent plans to name \'Cronx\'. Cronx was discovered in 2007 by Perenco UK and is estimated to hold approximately 17.6 billion cubic feet of gas. Cronx is located13 km northwest of the Blythe in North Sea.

Contractors:
AGR: Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Independent Oil & Gas PLC (IOG) to work together to deliver Well Construction & Well Project Management services in respect of IOG’s forthcoming drilling activity
Baker Hughes: Contract for the provision of oilfield services on the project. The additional Baker Hughes work to evaluate the prospectivity beneath the Skipper discovery and also to evaluate other Southern North Sea (SNS) prospects and discoveries including Truman, Harvey, Hambleton, Tetley & Rebellion is expected to start once the final report is completed and subject to IOG’s funding.
