Brief  Introduction

Location: Aktyubinsk Oblast, 270 kilometres from Aktobe, Kazakhstan
Reserves: 39.36 million tons and 21.77 million tons respectively (Alibekmola and Kozhasai)
Production: 1.25 million tons of oil and 63 million cubic metres of gas (in 2012)

Alibekmola and Kozhasai fields are being developed under a subsoil use contract signed on August 10, 1999. The term of the contract is 25 years. The fields are located in Aktyubinsk Oblast, 270 kilometres from Aktobe, Kazakhstan. Hydrocarbon reserves of Alibekmola and Kozhasai fields are 39.36 million tons and 21.77 million tons, respectively. Production in 2012 was 1.25 million tons of oil (LUKOIL\'s share was 313,000 tons) and 63 million cubic metres of gas (LUKOIL\'s share was 16 million cubic metres). LUKOIL\'s share in investment from the start of the project (since 2006) has exceeded US$300 million. The total number of employees of the operating company is more than 600, 99% of whom are Kazakhstan nationals.

LUKOIL plans to invest up to US$0.3 billion in development of the project till 2023. Maximum production from the project is expected to reach 1.4 million tons of oil by 2015. In June 2013 Kazakhoil Aktobe operating company celebrated the 10 the 10-millionth ton of oil produced starting from the beginning of operation of Alibekmola and Kozhasai fields. Project operator is ТОО Kazakhoil Aktobe. LUKOIL\'s partners in the project are KazMunaiGaz (50%) and Sinopec (25%).
