Arman field is located in the Mangistau Oblast, 270 kilometres from Aktau, Kazakhstan. Recoverable hydrocarbon reserves are 3.6 million tons. Production in 2012 was 67,200 tons of oil (LUKOIL\'s share was 31,500 tons) and 10 million cubic metres of gas (LUKOIL\'s share was 4.6 million cubic metres). The total number of employees is 80, 97% of whom are Kazakhstan nationals. 0.5 million tons of oil are expected to be produced in the field until 2024. Project operator is ТОО Arman. LUKOIL\'s partner in the project is Sinopec with a 50% share. The field is being developed under a subsoil use contract signed on June 10, 1994. The term of the contract is 30 years.
