Lundin Petroleum aims to drill a further wildcat in the third quarter of 2013 targeting the Gohta (Gotha) prospect in its operated PL492 in the Barents Sea, where gross prospective resources are estimated at 226 million barrels of oil equivalent, with semisub Transocean Arctic lined up for the job. Drilling is likely to start in August 2013 and expected to take around 60 days. Lundin holds a 40% operated stake in the licence with partners Det Norske Oljeselskap (40%) and Noreco (20%).
