Jorvik prospect is an oil and gas prospect which is located in PL338, east of the Edvard Grieg field in the North Sea, offshore Norway. Lundin Petroleum is the operator and has a 50% working interest in PL338 and the prospect. Partners are Wintershall Norge AS with 30% and OMV (Norge) AS with 20% interest. It is estimated that the Jorvik prospect can contain unrisked, gross, prospective resources of 46 million barrels of oil equivalent (MMboe). The average depth is around 2,000 metres below mean sea level. Drilling in the prospect commenced in February 2013.
