Location: Western margin of the Central Graben

First Oil holds 66.67% equity and is operator of Central North Sea licences P.1627 and P1811, Block 29/6a and 29/1e which are located on the Western margin of the Central Graben. The blocks contain the Centurion 29/6a-3 Fulmar Sst discovery with mean recoverable reserves of 18mmbbls which was drilled in 1987 and on DST flowed 5,049 bopd of 28oAPI oil. Further prospectivity is recognised in the Fulmar Sst and the primary prospect identified is the Centurion South prospect. Four other Fulmar prospects have been mapped on the block.
First Oil has a complete well and seismic database including recently reprocessed 3D Pre-STM seismic. A thorough technical evaluation of the prospectivity has been completed that has confirmed the structural model and potential for development of Fulmar reservoir on the Centurion South structure.
The Centurion South prospect is a combination structural/stratigraphic trap with potential for development of Upper Jurassic Fulmar reservoir as demonstrated by the adjacent Centurion 29/6a-3 discovery. The Centurion South prospect has an unrisked mean STOIIP of 114 mmbbls and mean recoverable resources of 34 mmbbls. The main prospect risk is reservoir presence.
Licence P1627 was awarded in the 25th UK Licensing Round with an initial term of four years from February 2009. Partners in the licence are Endeavour Energy UK Limited. The first phase of the firm work program, the reprocessing of 3-D seismic data, has been completed. A thorough technical evaluation of the data has been completed that has confirmed the structural model and the potential for development of Fulmar reservoir on the Centurion South structure.
