SIBUR started construction of the 1,100 km Purovsky Plant-Tobolsk-Neftekhim main pipeline in September 2012. It was completed in June 2014. It is for the transportation of NGL from the Yamal-Nenets and Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Areas to Tobolsk-Neftekhim to ensure a reliable feedstock supply to the expanding Tobolsk industrial site. The new pipeline allows for greater petrochemical feedstock deliveries and higher gas throughput and conversion rates in Western Siberia. Annual capacity of the new pipeline is more than 4 million tonnes (80,000 bpd) between Purovsky Plant and Yuzhno-Balyksky Plant and up to 8 million tonnes (160,000 bpd) between Yuzhno-Balyksky Plant and Tobolsk-Neftekhim.
