Det Norske is hoping to prove up estimated gross resource potential of between 70 million and 250 million barrels of oil equivalent at Ulvetanna as it targets further finds in the mature area of the North Sea.
The explorer will use the jack-up Maersk Guardian to drill the 3/4-2 S probe in Production Licence 356, which it operates with a 50% stake alongside partners Repsol (40%) and Petrolia (10%).
