The Scarabeo 6 design consists of a main deck supported by 6 columns, 2 pontoons, 3 horizontal bracings, 8 upright diagonal bracings and 4 horizontal diagonal bracings. In 2012 Scarabeo 6 performed shipyard works in order to increase water depth capability up to 1,100 m; works included an upgrade of the BOP control system. In keeping with the highest environmental regulations, the Scarabeo 6 is “zero pollution” and “zero discharge”.
