The South N’Dola platform will be a 16-slot wellhead linked by pipeline to North N’Dola 7km distant. The new field is expected to produce 30,000 b/d and 65 MMcf/d of gas. Oil and water will be sent to North N’Dola while gas will be sent to Sanha around 9km to the northeast. The water depth is around 225ft (69m) and this will be one of the deepest of the new platforms planned. Block 0 contains 20 major fields and Chevron is hoping to ramp up production from the area to nearly 1m b/d from the current level of 400,000 b/d.
