Novatek’s primary gas condensate processing asset is the Purovsky Plant, which has total processing capacity of 5 mmt of de-ethanized gas condensate per annum, that allows us to produce approximately 3.7 mmt of stable gas condensate and approximately 1.3 mmt of LPG per annum. The Purovksy Plant is located in the YNAO and in close proximity to the East- Tarkosalinskoye field. The Purovsky Plant receives feedstock through the unstable gas condensate pipelines from the East-Tarkosalinskoye and Khancheyskoye fields and the unstable gas condensate pipeline from the Yurkharovskoye and Sterkhovoye fields. In August 2010, a new 326 kilometre, three mmt per annum unstable gas condensate pipeline from the Yurkharovskoye field to the Purovsky Plant commenced.
The commissioning of this pipeline allowed to increase the quality of processed products by eliminating the quality dilution, which occurred when gas condensate from the Yurkharovskoye field was mixed with other producers\' gas condensate, during delivery to the Purovsky Plant using Gazprom\'s trunk pipeline. During 2011, NOVATEK processed 3,869 thousand tons of unstable de-ethanized gas condensate at the Purovsky Processing Plant, of which 984 thousand tons was processed in the fourth quarter.
Subsequent to the launch of the Ust-Luga Complex in 2013, most of the stable gas condensate volumes produced at the Purovsky Plant are delivered by rail to Ust-Luga for further processing or transhipment to exports, with most of the remaining small volume of stable gas condensate sold directly from the plant to the domestic market In June 2014, Novatek completed an expansion of the Purovsky facility, raising its capacity from 5 to 11 million tonnes per year (124,000 bpd to 271,000 bpd). During 2015, the de-ethanized gas condensate processing volumes at the Purovsky Plant increased by 82.1% to 12.021 million tonnes (296,000 bpd). This included 9.664 million tonnes (238,000 bpd) of stable gas condensate, 2.228 million tonnes (55,000 bpd) of light hydrocarbons and LPG and 11 million tonnes of generated methanol.
