The Perseevsky block is located in the western part of the Barents Sea in an area adjacent to the Norwegian economic zone. Sea depth is 120 – 240 metres.
In the 23,000 sq km Perseevsky license, Statoil and Rosneft aim to gather 5,500 km of 2D seismic by 2016, followed by 3D data by 2018 and a wildcat well before 2020.
