The licence is located in Blocks 7217/12, 7218/10 and 7218/11 on the Veslemøy High in the Barents Sea. The first exploration well 7218/11-1 was drilled with the Transocean Barents drilling facility on 5 March 2013. The well was permanently abandoned on 10 April 2013 as a dry well.
