Location: Sirt District, south-eastern Anatolia region of Turkey
Area: 245,699 gross acres

Anatolia Energy has a 25% a working interest in the Bismil project that includes two adjacent licenses totalling 245,699 gross acres. The onshore block is located in the Sirt District of the south-eastern Anatolia region of Turkey. The licenses are subject to the Caliktepe discovery in 2010 and contain eight identified prospects. The company is currently evaluating the Caliktepe-2 appraisal well in addition to interpreting the 115 km 2D and 206 square km 3D seismic programs which were recently acquired. The company has an option to earn a 50% working interest in the Silurian Dadas shale, which is the \"super source rock\" for most of the Middle Eastern oilfields. The company has completed a coring program of the Dadas Shale and is in the process of analysing the cores.

On January 29, 2011, Anatolia signed a joint venture agreement with Calik Enerji Sanayive Ticaret A.S. (Calik) to earn working interests equal to either 50% or 25% in two development licenses and six exploration licenses namely Bismil, Antep, Besni and Sinan licenses totaling 336,509 net acres. On June 7, 2011, Anatolia entered into a joint venture supplemental agreement with Calik, pursuant to which it has the option to increase its working interest in the Dadas shale oil formation within the two Bismil licenses from 25% to 50%.
