Project Profile

Location: East side of Ob River, Tomsk Oblast
Record production: 3,700 bopd (record production for the Licence area, July, 2016)
Current production: 3,300 bopd (August, 2016)
Reserves: 13.2 million bbls (proved and probable) and 17.4 million bbls (3P reserves)
Start-up year: 2017 (Sibkrayevskoye)

PetroNeft Resources wholly owned subsidiary \"LLC Stimul-T\" won the State Auction for the Tungolsky Licence No. 61 in the Tomsk Region of Western Siberia and acquired the Block in May 2005. Licence No. 61 (Tungolsky) is located in the northern end of the Tomsk Region in Alexandrov administrative district. The climate is strongly continental, characterised by long cold (as low as −50°C) winters and short warm summers. Blizzards and heavy snowfalls persist from October till April. The average soil freezing depth is 1.2 m. The maximum frost penetration depth in swamps is 0.5 m. The snow cover reaches 1.5 m. The heating season lasts from mid-September until May. The Licence area is uninhabited, with access via winter roads of compacted snow, or by helicopter or waterways. A long winter makes for greater progress in the exploration and development of the oil fields. Seismic acquisition activities take place in the winter months. Drilling activities can take place year round provided the rig, supplies and heavy equipment have been moved to site during the winter months.

The Arbuzovkoye field (formerly Varyakhskaya prospect) is located in the north central part of License 61 about 10 km east of the Lineynoye oil field. This structure was delineated and prepared for drilling by seismic data in 1990-91. Additional seismic data was obtained by PetroNeft in 2005/2006. The Arbuzovskoye No. 1 discovery well was drilled in 2010. The well tested open hole with an inflow of 289 bopd from Upper Jurassic J1 sandstones (2,557.3 to 2,586.0 m MD). A step rate DST was performed and stabilised flow on an 8 mm choke was 176 bopd (2,564.9 to 2,570.9 m MD). The oil is high quality with a density of 0.79 g/cm3 (47 degree API gravity). Ryder Scott currently estimates the proved and probable reserves for the field at 13.2 million bbls. The 3P reserves for the field are estimated at 17.4 million bbls.

The A-215 well was brought online on 24 June 2016 and the current flow rate is around 650 bopd. The Arbuzovskoye well A-216 was spudded on 20 June 2016. Well A-216 is a deviated (vertical in the reservoir) production well located to the south of well A-213. The well was not in the original firm work programme but has been added based on the good results of the A-213, A-214 and A-215 wells. (July, 2016)

Current gross production from Licence 61 is about 3,500 bopd (1,750 bopd net to PetroNeft). (July, 2016)
