Project Profile
Value: US$598,816.31
Location: North of Terschelling Island, Netherlands
Blocks: M10a and M11
Exploration start-up: - 1985
This appraisal project in blocks M10 and M11 is in shallow water to the north of Terschelling Island in the southern part of the North Sea. The discovery well, M-11-1 was drilled by NAM in 1985. The complete area benefits from full 3D seismic coverage and in addition to the structure in the Rotligendes sandstones, a number of other prospects and leads have been identified. In the licence area there are three structures, all of which contain gas discovery wells with the gas present in the Slochteren unit of the Rotligendes sandstones. A conceptual development plan had been prepared and a final appraisal well was planned for H2 2012 to confirm reservoir parameters for the detail project design.
