Location: Nida Concession, Poland
The Nida concession covering some 280,000 acres and is on trend with significant oil production in Poland. San Leon drilled two exploration wells on the concession targeting multiple one to two million barrel prospects.
Chopin-1 exploration well encountered several reservoirs with gas shows in the underlying Jurassic and high quality reservoir sandstones in the Cretaceous. The well was plugged as a dry hole. (September, 2011)
Belvedere-1 exploration well had no indications of hydrocarbons. The well was plugged as a dry hole. (October, 2011)
