The Arran field (formerly Barbara-Phyllis) is located in the East Central Graben (blocks 23/11, 23/16b & 23/16c) and is 28km to the north of the Lomond platform. The initial development plan consisted of 3 wells tied back to the Lomond platform via a new bridge-linked platform. The FDP Was submitted in April 2010 and the ES in July 2010. The final investment decision is still to be made. The operators have been working together since 2013 to develop a revised scheme that is economically viable.

Originally production was predicted in 2014 but due to the project delays, this has now been set back until 2020.
