Project Profile
Value: US$385 Million
Location: Danish North Sea, Denmark
In August 2009 production from the Siri platform was halted. The decision was made after a routine inspection, revealing cracks in the subsea structure connected to the oil storage tank below the Siri platform. In January 2010 production resumed from the Siri platform following the implementation of temporary safeguarding measures. A permanent repair solution for the platform is to now underway. The concept consists of cable stays between the platform legs and a new seabed support structure to support the wellhead caisson.
