The Nursultan Block is located in the Kazakh sector of the Caspian Sea, 75km from the coast. The estimates suggest the field has 10.85 Bn bbl of oil reserves and 4.09 Tcf (116 Bcm) of gas. The Nursultan is found off Kuryk in deep waters in the Kazakh sector of the Caspian, ranging from depths of about 50 metres up to about 450 metres. Block N, which is located in the Kazakh sector of the Caspian Sea, occupies an area of 7,625 square kilometres and has geological resources totalling 637 million tonnes of equivalent fuel.
