The project will see construction of a new pipeline with 16 billion cubic meters of capacity to export the gas produced in Phase 2 of the Shah Deniz project. The pipeline to be built from Shah Deniz Phase 2, to the Azeri-Georgian border. The export pipeline will be 400 kilometres long. The gas will be transported on the new gas pipeline paralleling the existing one. In Georgia, where two large compressors will be built, the pipeline will be connected to the existing South Caucasus Pipeline.

BP: Operator with 28.8% interest
PETRONAS: 15.5% interest
SOCAR (State Oil Company of the Azerbaijani Republic): 16.7% interest
LUKoil: 10% interest
Nico Resources: 10% interest
TPAO (Turkish National Oil Company): 19% interest
