Ten wells have been drilled in the XV Midia block. The block has been covered by 1,740 sq km 3-D seismic acquired in 2014-2016. In addition, extensive 2-D seismic was also acquired in 2012 and 2008.
Field Development Plan (expected approval in 2017)
The development of the field will include the construction of an offshore platform located in the Ana field. The platform will be connected to Doina field and a gas treatment plant within the Vadu area via an 18-km subsea pipeline and a 120-km pipeline respectively. The treatment plant will be also linked to the Transgaz-operated grid system through a 25-km pipeline.
